Meet Dr. Mira Suvagia

Dr. Mira Suvagia is deeply passionate about transforming lives through confident, healthy smiles with personalized orthodontic care. She approaches her work with a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference, providing tailored care that meets each patient’s unique needs. Dr. Suvagia grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, and is excited to be returning to the community she’s always called home.

Dr. Suvagia graduated as Valedictorian from Burlington Central High School. She earned her degree in Chemistry with a Business minor from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she received the prestigious University Bronze Tablet Honors. Continuing her academic journey at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Suvagia ranked 1st in her dental class and served as class President as she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree. During dental school, Dr. Suvagia displayed her innovative spirit by contributing to the research and development of artificial intelligence tools for dental radiograph classification.

After dental school, Dr. Suvagia pursued advanced orthodontic training at Marquette University, where she completed her residency and earned her Master of Science in Orthodontics. 

Dr. Mira also achieved board certification, an esteemed distinction held by only a select group of orthodontists. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, she is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence. Her research, including her thesis on the relationships between dentoalveolar heights and vertical facial proportions, showcases her dedication to advancing the field.

Dr. Suvagia is highly skilled in a wide range of orthodontic treatments, including clear aligners and traditional braces, and she blends cutting-edge techniques with a patient-first approach. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society, and remains at the forefront of her profession through participation in nationwide conferences and workshops.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Suvagia is equally passionate about life. She and her husband, a senior thermal hardware engineer at SpaceX, enjoy traveling, exploring new cuisines, and cherishing quality time with family and friends.

Her warm, approachable nature helps her build meaningful relationships with her patients, making every smile she creates a truly rewarding experience.
